To complicate matters, each search engine reads your metatags differently. Lycos is difficult to appear on - but it does bring up relevant hits. It's system is just different than that of AltaVista & Go Network. It is defintely worth submitting to and it is a good search tool for finding sites that don't appear on other engines.
